​Requirements:

• Applicants must hold a MACTE accredited Diploma and / or RECE Diploma.
• Have a valid CPR and First Aid certification and a current Police Reference Check.
• Have a current health assessment, including TB test.
• A minimum of two years of full time experience in a Montessori setting, working in a team environment.
• A strong commitment to the Montessori philosophy.
• Value and be able to create an environment built on respect, empathy, honesty and kindness.
• Show warmth and sincerity when working with children, staff and parents.
• Possess excellent behaviour management skills that include problem solving, positive reinforcement and redirection strategies.
• Be innovative, have strong organizational skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills and a passion for children.
• Fluency in French is an asset as are artistic talents in arts and crafts and music.

The successful candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic as well as display strong leadership and initiative.
