March Break Camp & Summer Camp

We at Hatch House Montessori School do not want families to worry about their children’s care during school holidays either.

The HHMS March Break Camp runs for one week in March, which coincides with the Durham District School Board’s scheduled March Break. This program is available for Casa and Elementary students of Hatch House and is open to the public as well, by pre-registration for ages 3 - 12. Daily activities are designed based on a pre-planned theme for the week, and are led by our Montessori teachers. Camp hours are from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

The HHMS Summer Camp is a seven-week programme, starting on the second week of July through to the second last week of August.  This program is available for Casa and Elementary students of Hatch House and is open to the public as well, by pre-registration for ages 3 - 12. Each week presents an exciting new theme to keep spirits high, promote fun while also challenge the mind with exploratory activities.

Themes can include science, health, food and nutrition, dance and music, sports, animals, art, languages, drama, water fun and more. Camp hours are from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Junior Toddler and Toddler Summer Programme

The Summer Programme for our youngest children from 12 months – 3 years, is an extended developmentally appropriate learning time of the 10-months school period. Enhanced with even more fun games, water plays, outdoor time and the occasional puppet show or getting up close and personal with live animals, this seven-week programme promises all the challenges, excitement and opportunities to grow that this age group is hungry for.

Pre-registration is required, for the entire summer or any of the weeks. The programme runs from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm.
